Applications Open for the Indigenous Transportation Initiative Fund
January 17, 2023NIPISSING – Vic Fedeli, MPP for Nipissing announced that the Ontario government is working with Indigenous communities and organizations across Ontario to improve local transportation through the 2023-2024 Indigenous Transportation Initiatives Fund (ITIF).
“The ITIF provides funding for small and large projects, related to economic development, transportation mobility, and transportation safety,” said MPP Vic Fedeli. “Through this program, we are continuing to ensure a strong transportation network that meets the individual needs of Indigenous communities and organizations across Ontario.”
Indigenous communities and organizations can apply for funding of up to $30,000 for small projects, and $75,000 for large projects. Funding can support:
- Transportation mobility
- Community well-being
- Transportation safety
