Applications Open for the Supporting Anti-Hate & Security Measures Grant

February 22, 2022

NORTH BAY – Vic Fedeli, MPP for Nipissing has announced that the Ontario government is currently accepting applications for the Anti-Hate & Security Measures Grant. Faith based and cultural organizations can apply online. The purpose of this grant is to safeguard and protect places of worship from hate-motivated violence and attacks.

It’s very easy to apply. The grant is divided into three tiers of funding; $5000, $7500, and $10,000, and is based on their 2019 CRA revenue and return. This grant is obtained easily through an attestation – so no long grant application is necessary.

A full list of eligible expenses can be found on the website, as well as a description of all organizations eligible or ineligible to apply. We strongly encourage all local eligible organizations to apply for this Grant, as soon as possible. Please see the following link: Ontario Grant to Support Anti-Hate Security Measures for Faith-Based and Cultural Organizations (gov.on.ca)

The deadline to apply is March 3, 2022.
