Funding for Local Museums
January 14, 2020NORTH BAY – Ontario is providing $30,164 for local museums under the Community Museum Operating Grant program, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli announced today.
“This support helps museums across the province protect and interpret Ontario’s cultural heritage and strengthen the capacity of organizations right across the heritage sector,” said Fedeli.
The funding includes:

- $22,066 for Discovery North Bay
- $8,098 for the Callander Bay Museum
The Ontario government is committed to a strong culture sector. Museums play a significant role in contributing to lifelong learning and the creation of vibrant, creative communities. The government is pleased to continue support for community museums.
