NIPISSING — Vic Fedeli, MPP for Nipissing announced that the Ontario government is investing $304,289 in one-time funding to support public health programs and services through the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit. This funding will enable our local health unit to continue to provide healthy living programs and information regarding disease prevention to all members of the community.

“The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit provides key knowledge and takes preventative measures to help our community remain a safe, happy, and healthy place to live,” said MPP Vic Fedeli. “Ontario is ensuring that people have health care services available in Nipissing, to seek and receive the care they need, when they need it.”

“Our health unit plays a vital role in keeping our community safe and healthy through the many programs and services it delivers,” said Graydon Smith, MPP for Parry Sound–Muskoka. “I’m pleased to see our government making this investment in public health so the Health Unit can continue providing the highest level of service for people across our region.”
