Volunteer Service Awards to Exceptional Volunteers of Nipissing
July 11, 2025NORTH BAY — Vic Fedeli, MPP for Nipissing announced that the Ontario government is once again recognizing the outstanding contributions of 36 local volunteers who received the 2025 Ontario Volunteer Service Award. This award is given out annually to both adult and youth volunteers for their notable contributions and service to organizations, including non-profits, hospitals, community centres, libraries, schools and community associations.
“The 2025 Ontario Volunteer Service Award recipients dedicate their time to supporting a diverse array of organizations and causes,” said MPP Vic Fedeli. “We are proud to recognize the incredible efforts from volunteers within Nipissing and thank them for their continuous dedication to supporting our community.”
This award has recognized the exceptional contributions made by local volunteers since 1986, acknowledging individuals for continuous years of volunteer service at a single organization. Volunteers contribute to wide range of services to our province, including supporting seniors and adults through Meals on Wheels, building up communities through local Lions Clubs, and much more.

The province encourages everyone to recognize an exceptional volunteer for their efforts by nominating them for a Volunteer Service Award or the June Callwood Outstanding Achievement Award for Voluntarism.
