Seniors Community Grant Program Applications Now Open
October 28, 2026NIPISSING — Vic Fedeli, MPP for Nipissing announced that the Ontario government is opening applications for the Seniors Community Grant Program (SCG). This grant offers support to local, not-for-profit community groups, municipalities, Indigenous governing bodies, and organizations to deliver various programs designed to help seniors increase independence, reduce social isolation, and create positive connections.
“Our government is working hard to ensure seniors have the resources available to stay healthy, active, and connected in their communities,” said MPP Vic Fedeli. “The Seniors Community Grant Program provides important funding for organizations to deliver programing and activities that enrich the lives of seniors across Ontario.”
SCG recipients can receive up to $25,000 to support local programs, services, and events to provide seniors with opportunities for greater social inclusion, volunteerism, and community engagement. This year’s investment includes an additional $1 million, specifically for programs dedicated to improving the quality of life for senior veterans.
