Nominations Open for the 2024 Ontario Senior of the Year Award
March 28, 2024NORTH BAY – Vic Fedeli, MPP for Nipissing is pleased to announce that the Ontario government has opened nominations for the Ontario Senior of the Year Award. This award gives each municipality the opportunity to honour one of their local seniors, who after age 65, have made outstanding contributions to enrich the social, cultural, and civic life of their community.
“Seniors have generously given their time, knowledge and expertise to make this province the best place in this country to live and work,” said MPP Vic Fedeli. “It is important that we take the time to celebrate our older population and their valuable contributions. We encourage municipalities in Nipissing to provide nominations for the Ontario Senior of The Year Award for seniors who’ve made our community a better place to live.”
For more information on how to submit a nomination online, please visit the Senior of the Year webpage. The deadline for nominations is April 30, 2024. Personalized certificates for all nominees will be sent to the municipalities that nominated them.
