Ontario Arts Council Grants in Nipissing
March 27, 2019NORTH BAY — Several local arts organizations are receiving a total of $96,750 in project grants through the Ontario Arts Council, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli announced today.
The funding includes:
- $27,000 for Aanmitaagzi under the Touring Projects program
- $17,000 for Zakide under the Multi and Inter-Arts Projects program
- $17,000 for the North Bay Symphony Orchestra under the Music Production and Presentation Projects program
- $12,750 for Chinimiwin under the Northern Arts Projects program
- $10,000 for Windsong under the Northern Arts Projects program
- $8,000 for Art Fix of Nipissing under the Deaf and Disability Arts Projects program
- $5,000 for the Compagnons des francs loisirs under Diffusion – projets francophones
“My congratulations go out to these organizations for their continued dedication to helping our community enjoy the arts, music and culture that Nipissing has to offer,” said Fedeli.
