Speaker’s Book Award Nominations Sought
September 12, 2017QUEEN’S PARK – Submissions are now being accepted for the Ontario Legislature’s Speaker’s Book Award, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli said today.
Now entering its sixth year, the Speaker’s Book Award recognizes works by Ontario authors covering historical, regional, cultural or parliamentary aspects of the province.
Special consideration is given to works focusing on Ontario’s parliamentary heritage and on provincial political discourse.
Online applications for the award are now being accepted until October 6th, 2017.

One winning book will be selected and announced during an award ceremony at the Legislative Building on March 5th, 2018.
