VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD NOMINEES SOUGHT
December 15, 2015NORTH BAY – Nominations are again being accepted for the 2016 provincial Volunteer Service Awards, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli said today.
Since 1986, more than 240,000 dedicated volunteers have been recognized through this program across Ontario. In 2016, ceremonies will be held in three dozen communities across the province recognizing thousands of volunteers. The North Bay ceremony will be held May 31.
The deadline for nominations is January 25. Any nominations received after the deadline will be considered for the following year
“The hard work of volunteers is so vital to so many services, groups and events in Nipissing. Please consider nominating someone you feel is deserving of this award in your community,” said Fedeli.
