BONFIELD GETS RECREATION FUNDING
August 15, 2015NORTH BAY – The Township of Bonfield is receiving $43,700 in Ontario Trillium
Foundation grant funding for summer improvements to its outdoor rink facility, Nipissing
MPP Vic Fedeli announced today.
Fedeli made the announcement with township officials at Kaibuskong Park, where a new
seasonal skate park has been installed along with new basketball equipment.
The funding, provided over 12 months, is aimed at enhancing summer usage of the
outdoor rink facility and increasing physical activity among local youth.
“My congratulations go out to Mayor McLaren, council and the recreation committee for
their work to provide enhanced recreation opportunities for children and youth in Bonfield
for many years to come,” said Fedeli.
